‘Sweet Agony II’ reveals first poster

Directed by Alireza Davoudnejad, ‘Sweet Agony II’ has unveiled its first official poster.

The movie has been filmed in Iran as well as London and Manchester in the UK.

‘Sweet Agony II’ narrates the story of a girl who invites her parents to her 18th birthday party which is held in a place unknown to her parents.

They have to travel from Manchester to London to get to the party. During the trip, the couple reviews their memories to find out what is the reason that distances them from their daughter.

Tarlan Parvaneh, Mona Davoudnejad, Zahra Davoudnejad, Homayoun Kazemi, and Mohammad-Reza Davoudnejad are among the actors of the movie.

Alireza Davoudnejad directed the movie ‘Sweet Agony’ in 1999. In an interview, the director said the movie ‘Sweet Agony II’ is somehow related to the old one, but the story takes place in a different time and location.
